The American Classic Golf Club is a 9-hole, public golf course located in Lewes, Delaware. This course is great for golfers of all skill levels and ages because it has 5 different kinds of tee boxes so you can move up to the yellow (junior tees) to play a shorter game or move back to the blue tees (professional tees) and play a longer game.
What’s Going On For Women’s Golf Day @ The Classic:
– 2-hour golf clinic (must pre-register in pro shop)
– Golf 9-holes for FREE
– Women’s Happy Hour 6-8pm

– Accepting donations for Breast Cancer Research Foundation (all donations given will go straight to BCRF)

For Women’s Golf Day, we will be allowing any woman or girl to golf 9-holes for FREE (cart fee not included), we will also be hosting a 2-hour long golf clinic to introduce new women golfers to the game & help experienced women golfers tune-up their game, followed by a 2-hour long happy hour with snacks & drinks (even ladies not participating in the clinic can come to the happy hour). Cost of the clinic & happy hour is just $25 and that pays for the clinic & snacks (does not include happy hour drinks). There will also be a 30% off sale in the pro shop for women on this day, that includes: golf balls, tees, apparel, bags, and more!

The annual American Classic Kids Camp is just under 3 months away!
One of the highlights of our summer is a week of craziness and fun when we have our Youth Golf Camp. During this camp, kids ages 6-16 (both boys and girls) will develop a solid understanding of how to play the game of golf. They will learn the proper techniques of a golf swing, as well as learning about golf course etiquette. We will focus on how to grip the club, the proper posture in a golf stance, where the ball should be positioned, and how to line up our shots. Each day will also be themed, so that the kids get to let loose and have some fun. We all know that golf can be a little intimidating at first, but with the perfect balance of teaching and fun, your kid will love the game as much as you do!

Internship Job Description:
Coordinate with course manager, golf pro and course superintendent. Friendly, courteous, helpful personality is essential. Must understand the game of golf and become familiar with all products, services and prices at the golf course. Must possess excellent telephone manners and sales skills. Must accurately perform cash or credit transactions, reporting procedures and pro shop paperwork. This internship is a great opportunity to build up your resume & get your foot in the door in golf management & operations.
When: May 2019 – September 2019
